Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie on Feminism

I was told I should watch Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s TEDx Talk quite some time ago, but I didn’t get around to seeing it until recently. Oh well, better late than never!

In her speech she describes her experience as a Nigerian woman and explains why it’s in everyone’s best interest to be a feminist. Adichie’s talk is extraordinarily powerful and inspiring, and I invite you to share it with your peers.

Yeah! Absolutely wonderful. I am Nigerian and also English Literature student. My lecturers recommend me to read her works because most of her novels portray Igbo culture (her tribe), feminism and gender equality. I wish you had read even one.
